1. You can take Rt. 460 in Petersburg. then follow directions from "downtown Suffolk" below.
2. You can go south on Rt.10 to Smithfield and then follow directions below.
3. Take I 64 to Jefferson Ave. to the "James River Bridge" and follow the directions from there.
From the Peninsula:
Cross the James River Bridge heading south on route 17. You will come to a bridge and traffic light at the intersection of Rt. 17 (also known as Bridge Road) and turn right at the traffic light (T-intersection) on to Crittenden Road. Go 8/10 mile on Crittenden road and turn right on to Moores Point Road. We are at 1636, the second two story house on right.
Cross the Monitor/Merrimack Bridge on route 664 east follow signs to Route 17, James River Bridge. Take Route 17 North. You will go over Bennetts Creek Bridge and continue until you go over the Godwin Bridge. After going over the Godwin Bridge turn left at the next light (beside the old 7-11 store) on to Crittenden Road. Go 8/10 mile on Crittenden road and turn right on to Moores Point Road. We are at 1636, the second two story house on right.
Take Rt. 264 through the downtown tunnel. This will merge to 664 at Bowers Hill, follow the signs to Newport News. Take the Route 17 North /James River Bridge exit. You will go over Bennetts Creek Bridge (small flat bridge) and continue until you go over the Godwin Bridge (longer and much taller, can’t miss it). After going over the Godwin Bridge turn left at the next light (beside the old 7-11 store) on to Crittenden Road. Go 8/10 mile on Crittenden road and turn right on to Moores Point Road. From the Midtown Tunnel take the first exit turning right. Follow for apx. 2 blocks and turn right at the stop sign. Stay on this road, there is a left turn at the end, to go over the West Norfolk Bridge. This is 164. Continue watching the signs for route 17 north to James River Bridge. 164 merges with route 17 north, also known as bridge road. . You will go over Bennetts Creek Bridge (small flat bridge) and continue until you go over the Godwin Bridge (longer and much taller, can’t miss it). After going over the Godwin Bridge turn left at the next light (beside the old 7-11 store) on to Crittenden Road. Go 8/10 mile on Crittenden road and turn right on to Moores Point Road. From Downtown Suffolk,
Follow Route 10 to Chuckatuck, turn Right on Kings Hwy, Route 125 for ½ mile. Turn Left on to Crittenden Road and go apx. 4 ½ miles to Moores Point road. We are at 1636, second two story house on right.
