On weddings...
I'm not sure what the bride's budget is for pictures, but we went with the philosophy that when it's all said and done . . . reception has ended and all the guests have gone home . . . cake has been cut/eaten . . . flowers are gone . . . garter has been tossed . . . honeymoon is over . . . the photos/memories last forever. They're expensive (when compared to "bargain photographers") but worth every penny. They have excellent equipment, years of experience, great attention to detail, and are exceptionally organized. You'll get exactly what you pay for plus some. David takes beautiful photographs (and Phyllis can/does too for that matter) and Phyllis's wedding albums are true works of art. She uses varied mat sizes and shapes to tell the story . . . and has no
> qualms about putting only one picture on a page if she feels that tells the story best. Album cost is based on number of pictures/sizes -- not number of pages. She doesn't skimp. The main reason we chose them was for their albums. We gave Phyllis creative license to adjust the size of our photos upward and change the requested order of our pictures if she felt bigger was more appropriate and/or a slightly different order would be more meaningful. She surpassed our expectations with her expertise and creativity. David and Phyllis have multiple beautiful examples of their portraits and albums in their home so you can see for yourself firsthand the magic they create/capture. We highly recommend them! Shawn
